JOSH S. ROSE
Josh S. Rose is a Los Angeles-based visual artist working in both photography and film, known for his collaborations with world-renowned choreographers & dancers, musicians, actors, and fine artists. His work captures the depth (and height) of human creativity with a cinematic approach to composition, light and moment. Rose’s work has been featured all around the world: Vogue, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Dance Magazine, Variety, and many others.
Rose spent over twenty years inside large agencies as EVP, Group Creative Director and then Chief Creative Officer, all within Interpublic Group (IPG). He ran numerous high-profile accounts (Volkswagen, Dr Pepper, Fisher-Price, Coors Light, Mitsubishi, Playstation, DIRECTV, TGI Friday’s) and he pitched, won and launched The Affordable Care Act across the United States. Rose’s Volkswagen Superbowl campaign (“The Force”) won top honors at Cannes.
Rose’s unique vision has made him a sought-after collaborator across multiple genres. Rose is a current college instructor of Dance Cinema at CalArts, has served as a Leica Akademie Instructor, instructor of Documentary Photography/Photojournalism at UCSD, and held artist residencies at LA Dance Project and CalArts.
